Delivering Quality Service – September 2017 Issue

14th September, 2017

Clients are precious to us.  It is precisely because of them that we have a reason to operate.  Although it is difficult to get new clients, it is not difficult to lose existing clients if we are not in tandem with their needs.  How should we manage them?  We feature an article on how we should engage our clients and what we are doing to improve our managers’ skills in connecting with clients.  Queenie Gao is one such good example to emulate.

Leadership grooming and Management training continues to be a hot topic for crew development.  How does one develop good leaders and managers?  Mike’s article will let you in to some of the secrets and also what they are developing for our Senior Officers.

We debunk the above statement.  Leaders are made, not born. Behavioral Theories believe that people can become leaders through the process of teaching, learning and observation. Leadership is a set of skills that can be learned by training, perception and experience over time. Leadership learning is lifetime activity.

Last but not least, we have successfully completed another Senior Officers Management Conference in Shanghai.  A flash back feature for your reading pleasure.
